School Age Program Coordinator – Manchester

Position is full-time, year-round, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10AM to 6PM during the school year.

Girls Inc. of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join our Manchester Center team. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in delivering high-quality programming that helps girls grow up strong, smart, and bold.

About the Role

The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading daily programming at the center. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and passionate about youth development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement programs focused on healthy living, academic support, and life skills instruction.
  • Deliver daily curriculum and engage girls with enthusiasm, guidance, and encouragement.
  • Ensure participant safety, support positive behavior, and model appropriate interactions.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plans, and required documentation.
  • Develop and administer pre- and post-tests for program evaluation.
  • Prepare program spaces and organize supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate regularly with the Center Director about program needs, successes, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with community partners for off-site activities.
  • Maintain monthly activity calendars and help plan special events (holiday activities, Girl of the Year, talent shows, etc.).
  • Assist with outreach and support additional programs as needed.
  • Train and supervise Group Leaders, Assistant Group Leaders, and Volunteers.
  • Provide information to families, answer inquiries, and document any incidents or accidents.
  • Transport girls using the agency vehicle as needed.
  • Track attendance in Compass-360.
  • Maintain professional boundaries.
  • Follow CACFP meal pattern guidelines and regulations; assist in the kitchen when needed; complete CACFP training.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education; OR bachelor’s degree in education or recreation; OR 12 relevant college credits; OR 2,000 hours of experience working with children
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Salary

  • $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
